2: Setting Up the Edge Devices

18 Verint Video Solutions

To access the general settings:

1. In the parameter tree, click Unit.

2. To change the name of the device, enter a meaningful

name in the Unit Name field.

3. If required, select the country of operation of the device.

4. To reboot the device or load its default settings:

a. Click Reboot Unit or Load Default Settings

respectively.

A confirmation message appears.

b. Click Yes.

5. To identify the device:

a. Check Identify Unit.

The status LED flashes red.

b. To reset the LED to its previous state, clear Identify

Unit.

6. Click OK.
